How do I access Virtuoso rates?
Virtuoso rates are exclusive and cannot be booked via standard online travel agencies (like Expedia or Booking.com). They are only available through a certified Virtuoso travel advisor who manages the booking process for you.
Is there an extra cost to book a Virtuoso rate?
No. The Virtuoso rate is usually identical to the hotel’s “Best Flexible Rate.” You pay the same price you would find on the hotel’s own website, but you receive the added value of the Virtuoso amenities (breakfast, credits, upgrades).
Can I still earn my hotel loyalty points?
Yes. Because Virtuoso bookings are considered “direct” bookings by the hotels, you typically earn your loyalty points (Marriott Bonvoy, Hyatt Privé, Hilton Honors, etc.) and elite night credits just as you would normally.
Are these benefits available at every hotel?
Virtuoso benefits apply to a curated selection of over 1,500 properties worldwide. While it covers the majority of top-tier luxury hotels, it is specific to the properties that have been vetted and invited into the Virtuoso network.
What is the “$100 Resort Credit” for?
This varies by property. Most commonly, it is applied to food and beverage (on-site restaurants and bars) or spa services. Some properties may apply it toward local activities or golf fees.
Is the room upgrade guaranteed?
Upgrades are subject to availability upon check-in. However, because you are booked as a Virtuoso guest, you are placed at the very top of the priority list for any available upgrades, ahead of standard bookings.
Do Virtuoso benefits apply to cruises?
Yes. Virtuoso has extensive partnerships with luxury cruise lines. Benefits often include shipboard credits, exclusive shore excursions, private cocktail receptions, or dedicated onboard hosts.
Can I book these rates myself online?
