Timeless Luxury at The Brown Palace Hotel

The Brown Palace Hotel & Spa, part of the Autograph Collection, is a true Denver icon. When we’re in the city, this historic luxury hotel in Denver is our top choice, and for good reason—its location is absolutely unbeatable. Situated right in the heart of downtown, it provides easy access to all the fantastic things Denver has to offer.

A Grand Welcome & Marvelous Check-In

From the moment you pull up to the valet, you feel a positive, old-world energy. Stepping inside, the hotel’s stunning lobby immediately captures your attention. The breathtaking grand atrium soars nine stories, crowned by a beautiful stained-glass ceiling. The decor here is unique and traditional, a refreshing departure from the sleek, modern luxury hotels we often see. Our check-in was marvelous, and we were thrilled to receive an upgraded room, which made our stay even more special.

Our Palatial Suite & A Ghost Hunt!

Our upgraded room was absolutely massive, more of a suite really. It came with a full living room, a separate full bedroom, and multiple bathrooms. The luxurious walk-in closets and the large jacuzzi were wonderful surprises. The room itself was beautifully styled with its own distinct character, and we had incredible views looking down into the bustling atrium.

This hotel is famous for its history, including a few ghost stories. We’d heard about a specific haunted room, and since our room was just a couple doors down, we decided to check it out. We didn’t experience any paranormal activity, but it was a fun little adventure to explore the hotel’s storied past!

Fun & Memorable On-Site Dining

One of the best parts of staying at The Brown Palace is the incredible selection of on-site restaurants and bars, each with its own unique ambiance. It felt like we were in an old, grand castle. We had delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I especially recommend taking some time to relax in the lobby with a cocktail and just gaze up at the incredible architecture.

Although I’ve read some mixed hotel reviews online, particularly about management, my experience at The Brown Palace was nothing short of perfect. While we are low-maintenance guests, the staff was always friendly, professional, and attentive. The magnificent upgraded room we received was just the icing on the cake. This is an elegant and storied hotel that consistently delivers a fantastic experience.
