Much like its Roman counterpart, The EDITION features a gorgeous pool table nestled beneath lush, overhanging greenery, creating a lavish and inviting social hub right within the lobby.

Just off the main lobby, you’ll discover a truly stunning bar. With its remarkably high ceilings, this spot is not just for drinks; it’s a statement. We found it to be the perfect place for a memorable photo opportunity, and our experiences here were consistently delightful. I highly recommend indulging in their top-shelf margaritas – a refreshing, expertly crafted treat that perfectly complements the sophisticated ambiance.

Emerging from the lobby into the resort’s expansive outdoor area, you’re immediately greeted by their massive, beautifully designed pool. The pool area provides ample space for relaxation and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.

For an unforgettable dinner experience, follow the enchanting walkway lined with swaying palm trees that leads directly to the beach. This path itself offers a wonderfully cool vibe and an excellent spot for some unique vacation photos, especially as the sun begins to set.

The beachfront restaurant is absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend it for both dinner and cocktails. The only minor drawback we encountered was the presence of bugs in the evening, but fear not! The hotel thoughtfully provides complimentary bug spray at the front desk, a must-ask if you plan an al fresco dinner.

It’s genuinely challenging to say whether I’d return to this specific Edition, not because of any fault, but because it offers a distinctly different energy than its next-door neighbor, the St. Regis. The Riviera Maya EDITION undeniably radiates a more fun and energetic vibe, perfect for those seeking a lively atmosphere, perhaps with a DJ playing by the pool or a more social scene. In contrast, the St. Regis cultivates a more quiet, sexy, and lounge-like ambiance, ideal for a tranquil escape where relaxation is paramount.

This brand-new property epitomizes luxury, sophistication, and a “sexy” ambiance. It is truly top-of-the-line. If your budget allows, definitely opt for one of their incredibly spacious suites – you’ll want to fully utilize the beautiful, expansive tub, the invigorating shower, and the convenience of unlimited coffee. Prepare to be pampered, impressed, and utterly enchanted by your stay. This is undoubtedly one of the best hotels on The Palm Dubai for a truly unforgettable vacation.
