We thought we found one of the best resorts on the entire island, and we weren’t wrong. We’re talking about the magnificent Sea Breeze Santorini Beach Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton. This place was beyond phenomenal—it felt like we were walking into a magical, chic oasis, a kind of Moroccan-meets-Cycladic dreamscape of stunning white concrete buildings. Every villa has a massive private pool, a beautiful public pool is at your disposal, and there are countless hidden getaways and bars on site. The hotel even has its own private beach right on the water with gorgeous table tops and loungers, leaving you with absolutely nothing to do but relax.
A Star Is Born: Our Experience as the First Guests
The hospitality began the moment we arrived. We were immediately helped out of our Uber and walked into the front desk. The team handed us a little welcome card and a funny little secret: we were among the very first people to ever stay at the resort. This place was so new, so pristine, that you could’ve heard a pin drop. It was almost empty, which made for the most serene, private, and unbelievably chill vacation we’ve ever had. It was so new, in fact, that the models who were used for the hotel’s advertisements were still hanging around on site during our stay! We felt like we were in the middle of a photo shoot the entire time, which was an insane and hilarious detail. For my partner Carey and I, one of our favorite things is to drink some Don Julio and just have a good time, so naturally, we made fast friends with all the management and staff. Their incredible hospitality made us feel like we’d been part of the family our whole lives.
Beyond the Ordinary: A Three-Story Villa with a Cave Bedroom
Our already jaw-dropping stay was elevated even further when we were taken to our upgraded villa. It was a three-story building! Our bedroom was located down a spiral staircase in the basement, essentially a magnificent, cave-like sanctuary carved into the rock. You simply can’t make this kind of architectural wonder up. Our main level opened up to a spacious back patio with our own massive private soaking pool. We wish we had an entire week just to lounge around in this unreal space. A spiral staircase to our rooftop patio offered stunning views of the resort and the glistening Aegean Sea. We spent so much time exploring the property, walking to and from dinner among the villas, and appreciating the magical design that defines this Santorini beach resort.

The Sea Breeze Santorini isn’t just about lavish rooms; it’s a destination for food lovers. The dining experience was remarkable, a true highlight of our trip. The hotel’s award-winning Chef Pavlos Kiriakis, known for his Toque D’or and Michelin star, brings his expertise to the resort’s culinary offerings.
Aura Restaurant: This is the main beachfront restaurant, which boasts incredible views of the Aegean. We had dinner here and were absolutely blown away. They specialize in Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, using the freshest local ingredients. It’s a serene waterfront setting perfect for a romantic evening.
Hours: Daily, 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM. They also host special “Prime Live Cooking Action Grill BBQ Nights” from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
